This is Goldcap.
My new wannabe millionaire
For the next significant period, this is going to be the only character I play or use to make gold. Right now he’s a level 1 Troll Shaman with 0 coin to his name and hopefully that will all change for the better
For now I’m going to concentrate on leveling up and also leveling gathering skills while progressing through the zones. A lot of old world ore and herbs sell quickly and for a decent amount of money now that the initial alt rush from the new expansion is over. Gathering should give me enough starting capital to move on to playing the auction house as well as leveling different professions such as Jewelcrafting or Tailoring.
I’ve been a World of Warcraft player for 8 years now. I started playing right after the game released and have played it consistently since. Lately, after the release of Mists of Pandaria, I’ve found myself getting bored and logging in only to run LFR or to grab a few levels on an alt. I’ve been bored with the grinds like rep or heroics for points. I needed something new to do and figured the auction house was it.
While I’ve dabbled in the auction house from time to time, I figured starting a blog about taking a brand new character, on a new realm, without any help from alts or higher level characters, might be the thing I need to keep me interested in the game. So with that being said, this is my blog about taking my new mage, Goldcap, from 0 money to the gold cap.
